Business Manager Chris Darker joined Local 792 in 1996 following his retirement from Law Enforcement. He served as a Labor Relations Representative and Organizer. Appointed to Assistant Business Manager in 1998. He was first elected to Business Manager in May 2000. Chris is the Chief Executive for the Local, serves as the Local Secretary-Treasurer, a Political Captain for LiUNA PSW, and a Coordinating Committee Member for the LiUNA Public Employee Department. Chris served one term as Vice President of the Five Counties Central Labor Council 2010-2012.

Steve Allen started Local 792 in June 1995. He was appointed as the first Business Manager by LiUNA Vice President Max Warren. He served as Business Manager 4 years. He has worked as a Labor Relations Representative and Organizer for Local 792. He was promoted to Senior Labor Relations Representative in 2000. He was promoted to Labor Relations Supervisor in July 2013 and Labor Relations Manager in July 2015.

Cindy Walton joined UPEC in November 2013. Cindy was raised in Redding CA., she lived in Germany for 10 years and in San Francisco before moving back to Redding in 2001. Cindy has over 30 years experience in Customer Service and has a long history of working and managing in an office environment. She is married and has two children.

Karen Campbell started at Local 792 in January of 2016 as the Business Accountant at the Redding Headquarters. She has worked in customer service for over 8 years and has 3 years of managerial experience. Karen is advanced in Microsoft Excel, and also has experience preparing income taxes for students and single filers.
Karen has her A.A. in Business Administration, and a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Humboldt State University. She graduated with her Master’s Degree in Accountancy from Sacramento State University in December of 2016.
Karen is in charge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, and various spreadsheet projects. She does the organization’s annual budget, handles all funds and investment accounts, and applies intricate financial analysis when needed. She also prepares the tax exempt tax return and the Department of Labor LM-2 Report.
Ryan Heron has served UPEC since July 2013. Ryan was appointed to the executive board in 2016. Ryan's past experience includes working in the legislative department for the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO. Contributor for The Progressive Press.

Ron has been a member of UPEC Local 792 since January 2009 and became an Executive Board member in November 2013. He was a member of the Shasta County General Unit as an Eligibility Worker III before joining the UPEC staff in January 2016. Ron’s prior paralegal and law clerk experience includes representing employees at administrative hearings.

Christine Perry has served UPEC since 2005 beginning as a consultant. Christine has over 33 years of success running her own business in advertising. Christine works closly with members in building the brand, setting up fund raisers and organizing new members into the Local. In June 2014 Christine was promoted to Field Operations Assistant. Christine works with the Labor Relations Representatives meeting monthly with bargaining units to provide information and assess their needs. She works with the International union to provide health and safety information, recruiting stewards and promoting member events. Christine was appointed to the Executive Board in 2016.

Barbara joined UPEC 792 in February 2016. She comes from the public school system where her passion for supporting and protecting employees was fostered. She is a past president of a chapter of the California School Employees Association (CSEA). She also served for many years as negotiation chair and chief job steward. She credits her internship with CSEA as the single greatest training she's experienced. She brings to us her skills in team work, leadership and extensive negotiation experience and representational experience.

Mike is a Program Manager with Trinity County Health and Human Services, where he has been employed since 1999. Robert is in his 28th year as a professional State Certified Journeyman Mechanic. He currently holds the title of Fleet Maintenance Worker III and Fire Mechanic III/Master Mechanic at the City of Milpitas. Prior to joining the City of Milpitas 18 years ago, Robert was employed by Transportation Design Manufacturing (TDM) as a Junior Engineer/Program Manager working on their alternative fuel and electric vehicle program.
What launched Roberts union leadership participation was becoming Shop Steward for the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local 1101 (IAMAW) over 20 years ago. Since then he's held various union leadership roles through his career. To present he is in his third term as President for the Milpitas Employee Association (MEA) and is also an Executive Board Member with UPEC 792, Santa Clara region.
